Abstract:
To provide a resin composition for embolus, an embolus using the same, an igniter, and a gas generator, which improves productivity, down-sizing the igniter by thinning the thickness of the embolus by improving strength of the embolus at high temperature, surely prevents an electrode pin from being projected, and also maintains a sealing property between the embolus and the electrode pin, and further maintains the sealing property without degrading in a heat cycle test.SOLUTION: In an igniter 11 having an electric bridge line 13, an ignition powder 12 that ignites by heat generated by the electric bridge line 13, and an electrode pin connected to the electric bridge line 13, (A) epoxy resin, (B) hardener, and (C) silica are used as a resin composition for embolus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
