Abstract:
To provide a steering unit characteristic of a simplified sensor housing that accommodates a sensor which detects information on steering.SOLUTION: A steering unit 1 includes a sensor housing 29 having a cylindrical connector insertion part 59, and a connector body 61 inserted into the connector insertion part 59. A communication hole 65 through which the inside and outside of the sensor housing 29 communicate with each other is formed in the connector body 61. The communication hole 65 includes a passage part 102 having a circular cross section, and a filter storage concave part 103 of a rectangular transverse section having a cross sectional area larger than that of the passage part 102. The filter storage concave part 103 includes an annular projection 105 that is formed on a bottom 103a to project like a thin cylinder from an opening end of the passage part 102 to an end 61a. A filter 64 is directly connected to an end surface of the annular projection 105.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
