Abstract:
To provide a cylinder device with a structure capable of cooling a piston rod more efficiently than before.SOLUTION: A cylinder device is provided with a housing (1) mounted in contact with a mold (M), a piston (7) which is axially movable and is inserted in a cylinder-shaped (5a) formed in the housing (1) in a hermetically sealed manner, a piston rod (8) extending from the piston (7) to a tip side, a piston rod (8) having a core member (10) attached to a tip part, and a first cooling passage (22) through which the cooling liquid formed inside the piston rod (8) flows, and a second cooling passage (26) through which the cooling liquid formed inside at least one of the housing (1) and the mold (M) flows, the second cooling passage (26) communicating with the first cooling passage (22).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
