Abstract:
To provide a battery pack in which heat generated due to abnormal heat generation is quickly diffused while suppressing heat conduction between thin cells adjacent in the y direction, thereby preventing propagation of abnormal heat generation to adjacent cells when a cell abnormally generates heat, the battery pack including a plurality of thin cells which are arranged in a matrix along the x, y directions and each of which has a width in the y direction smaller than a width in the x direction and a width in the z direction.SOLUTION: A battery pack includes a plurality of thin cells 2 arranged in a matrix along the x, y directions, each thin cell having a width in the y direction smaller than a width in the x direction and a width in the z direction. The battery pack includes an insulation member 5 which insulates between the thin cells 2 adjacent in the y direction, and a heat conduction member 6 which is in contact commonly with a surface of each of a plurality of the thin cells 2 arranged side by side in the x direction, the normal direction of the surface being the y direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
