Abstract:
To efficiently draw a performance image.SOLUTION: When an instruction to execute a performance is output, first, a display control part 220 constructs a drawing command for instructing drawing of a performance image. When the drawing command is transferred to a VDP 152, a preload circuit 154 preloads whole page containing a required drawing material to a prescribed region of a DRAM 191 from a CGROM 190. Then a drawing circuit 155 acquires the drawing material from the prescribed region of the DRAM 191 and decodes the same, and draws the performance image on a frame buffer on a VRAM 156. The CGROM 190 is a NAND Type ROM, therefore random access to a specific drawing material is impossible and data reading for a page unit is required, however, the data read from the CGROM 190 is preloaded to the DRAM 191 and the specific drawing material is acquired from the DRAM 191, therefore drawing of the performance image can be efficiently performed even using the NAND type ROM.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 52
