Abstract:
To provide a display device and a sewing machine, in which the quality of the stitch can be distinguished and displayed based on the information of sewing.SOLUTION: The sewing machine can display the stitch line in each needlework in which each point of falling the needle is linked to the displaying portion 181, based on the information of sewing assigning the point of falling the needle. The sewing machine judges whether the quality of the stitch on the article to be sewn corresponding to the stitch line is arranged to be the perfect stitch, the hitch stitch, and the mixed stitch, based on the direction of sewing of the information of sewing at the time of sewing. The sewing machine displays the stitch line to the displaying portion 181 with the aspect (for example, coloring) in which the quality of the stitch can be discriminated, based on the result of judging the quality of the stitch. So, the user can easily predict the position in which the perfect stitch, the hitch stitch, and the mixed stitch are created to the stitch as formed on the article to be sewn and its ratio, by confirming the stitch line as displayed in the displaying portion 181.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
