Abstract:
To provide a rotary electric machine which can reduce measurement tolerance of a magnet.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine comprises: a rotor 40 including a magnet unit 42 having a plurality of magnetic poles the polarity of which becomes alternate in a circumferential direction; and a stator 50 having a multi-phase stator coil. The magnet unit 42 includes a plurality of magnets 1001 which are aligned and arranged in the circumferential direction. In the magnets 1001, axes of easy magnetization are oriented in an arc shape so that orientations of the axes of easy magnetization become parallel to a d-axis, which is a magnetic pole center, in comparison with a side of a q-axis which is a magnetic pole boundary on a side of the d-axis, and a magnet path in the arc shape is formed along the axes of easy magnetization. The magnets 1001 are formed in the arc shape when viewed from an axial direction of the rotor 40, and provided with first reference surfaces 1100 which become planes, and second reference surfaces 1200 which become parallel to the first reference surfaces 1100.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 76
