Abstract:
To provide a mold apparatus capable of insert molding without generating burrs on the exposed portions of each surface while avoiding increased costs in the manufacture of injection-molded articles having a series of exposed portions over two or more surfaces.SOLUTION: The mold apparatus 11 is provided with a first mold 20, a second mold 30, a slide mold 41, and a holding member 51. The first mold 20 and the second mold 30 form a cavity 5 when the mold is closed. The slide mold 41 is provided in one of the first and second molds 20 and 30 and can be advanced and retracted in the cross direction of the mold opening and closing direction. The slide mold 41 is in pressure contact with the insert material 2 during molding, forming a part of the cavity 5, and the tip 41a can be displaced in the mold opening and closing direction D1. The holding member 51 is provided at a position corresponding to the tip portion 41a of the slide mold 41 in the unattached portion of the slide mold 41 among the opposing portions of both molds, and presses and displaces the tip portion 41a in the mold opening and closing direction D1 when the mold is closed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
