Abstract:
To provide a hermetically sealing device in which a pressure change in a bearing-side space can be suppressed for a long period of time, in an oil-air-out lubrication system.SOLUTION: The hermetically sealing device is disposed between a rotary shaft and a housing, and isolates a bearing-side space from an external space. The hermetically sealing device includes: a bearing-side seal member fixed to the housing; and an external-side seal member which is radially-inwardly pressurized by the bearing-side seal member. The external-side seal member is formed of resin, and comes in hermetically sealed contact with the rotary shaft in a freely slidable manner. The bearing-side seal member includes: a cylindrical portion fitted into the housing; a main seal lip; and a check lip. The main seal lip and the check lip are in a hermetically sealed contact with the rotary shaft in a slidable manner, and when the pressure on the bearing side exceeds a predefined amount, the main seal lip and the check lip move apart from the rotary shaft and allows the air and lubricating oil to flow out from the bearing-side space into an external space. The external-side seal member is formed of resin, and disposed in an external space side from the main seal lip and comes in a hermetically sealed contact with the rotary shaft in a slidable manner.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
