Abstract:
To provide a voice recognition device capable of recognizing proper voice levels even under a variety of conditions.SOLUTION: There is provided a voice recognition device comprising: a voice input unit 102 which accepts input of a speaker's voice and noise in a use environment of the device in the form of an electric signal; a voice level calculation unit 106 which calculates a level of the input voice signal of the speaker; a noise level calculation unit 104 which calculates a level of the input noise signal; a character conversion unit 118 which converts a waveform of the electric signal into a character string; a reliability calculation unit 112 which calculates reliability of the conversion voice in conversion of the waveform into the character string; and a necessary voice level calculation unit 108 which calculates a necessary voice level from the voice level, noise level, and reliability.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
