Abstract:
To provide a computing device, etc., with which it is possible to realize efficient and high-speed computing.SOLUTION: The computing device comprises a plurality of input lines and one or more product-sum computing devices. An electric signal corresponding to an input value is inputted to each of the plurality of input lines within a prescribed input period. A plurality of multiplication units of the product-sum computing device generate, on the basis of the electric signal inputted to each of the plurality of input lines, a charge that corresponds to a multiplication value obtained by multiplying the input value by a load value. A storage unit of the product-sum computing device stores a charge that corresponds to the multiplication value generated by each of the plurality of multiplication units. A charge unit of the product-sum computing device charges the storage unit in which a charge corresponding to the multiplication value is stored, after the start of charging by the charge unit. An output unit of the product-sum computing device executes threshold determination, by a prescribed threshold, on the voltage held by the storage unit after the start of charging by the charge unit and thereby outputs a product-sum signal that represents the sum of multiplication values. The charging by the charge unit is executed in a common charge mode, with a common threshold set as the prescribed threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
