Abstract:
To provide a color composition for a color filter, which has a good transmittance, as well as good developability and pattern forming property even when a coating film having a thickness of less than 1 μm is to be formed.SOLUTION: The color composition for a color filter comprises a halogenated copper phthalocyanine pigment (A), a yellow pigment, an aromatic carboxylic acid-based linear dispersant (B), a photopolymerizable compound, and a photopolymerization initiator. The yellow pigment is at least one pigment selected from the group consisting of C.I. Pigment Yellow 139, C.I. Pigment Yellow 150 and C.I. Pigment Yellow 185; the aromatic carboxylic acid-based linear dispersant (B) is a reaction product of an aromatic compound having one acid anhydride group and a vinyl-based polymer, in which the vinyl polymer contains a (meth)acrylate unit having an alkyl group having 4 carbon atoms and a carboxyl group-containing monomer unit. In the composition, the proportion of pigments included in 100 pts.mass of a nonvolatile component is 45 mass% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
