Abstract:
To provide a technique which can prevent the quality of display of a display device from being reduced.SOLUTION: The display device includes: a display panel; and a parallax barrier panel in which a plurality of openings are arranged, the openings being capable of switching a translucent state and a blocking state for light of the display panel. According to the method for controlling display, control is conducted so that a predetermined number of openings adjacent to each other are set in a first state, which is one of the translucent state and the blocking state, so that a plurality of first-state parts are formed while the remaining openings are set in a second state, which is another of the translucent state and the blocking state, so that the first-state parts are moved at a pitch which corresponds to at least two of the openings.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
