Abstract:
To provide an ink jet recording device which can cool a driving part while surely suppressing the occurrence of malfunction due to ink mist.SOLUTION: An ink jet recording device comprises: an image formation unit which has an ink discharge head for discharging ink from a nozzle in accordance with an input driving signal, a driving part for outputting the driving signal to the ink discharge head, and a head housing storing the ink discharge head and the driving part, and forms an image by discharging ink to a recording medium from the nozzle exposed on the outside of the head housing; a body housing which stores at least the image formation unit; an air duct which connects the outside of the body housing with the inside of the head housing; and an air supply unit which supplies the outside air of the body housing to the inside of the head housing through the air duct.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
