Abstract:
To provide an electric tricycle capable of realizing as stable braking as possible without relying on the occupant's perception.SOLUTION: An electric tricycle 11 includes: a first electric motor 52 that applies a driving force to a left front wheel 12a about a first axis line Xff in response to feed of electricity, and applies a braking force to the left front wheel 12a at a time of electricity generation; a second electric motor 54 that applies the driving force to a right front wheel 12b about a second axis line Xfs in response to feed of electricity, and applies the braking force to the right front wheel 12b at a time of electricity generation; and a controller 57 that, when manipulation of a brake lever 28 is detected, if a forward load exceeds a predetermined value, produces a control signal causing the braking force to intermittently react on the left front wheel 12a and right front wheel 12b from the first electric motor 52 and second electric motor 54, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
