Abstract:
To provide a pressing mechanism and a gas encapsulation device, the pressing mechanism being capable of pressing a slide member in a direction perpendicular to a slide direction with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A pressing mechanism 10 abuts on a slide member 30 and uses force from a slide direction of the slide member 30 to press the slide member 30 in a direction perpendicular to the slide direction of the slide member 30. The pressing mechanism 10 includes a rotary member 12. The rotary member 12 includes an abutting part 12a on which the slide member 30 abuts when the slide member slides. When the slide member 30 applies force in the slide direction to the abutting part 12a, the rotary member 12 rotates to press the slide member 30 in the direction perpendicular to the slide direction of the slide member 30. The slide member 30 can be taken as a door for closing a gas encapsulation device 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
