Abstract:
To provide a fungus presence determination method that can determine presence of fungus by reliably dissolving even hard keratin such as nail, and further enhance determination accuracy of presence of fungus in combination with other determination method.SOLUTION: A determination method for determining presence of fungus by using a specimen collected from an affected part, comprises : a step of preparing a container capable of storing a process liquid into which biological tissue contained in the specimen is dissolved and the specimen; and a specimen dissolving step of putting the process liquid and the specimen into the container and dissolving the biological tissue in a test tube to generate a specimen solution. Another determination step of preparing fungus detection means for processing the specimen to detect fungus, and determining presence of fungus in the specimen on the basis of a detection result of the fungus detection means may be included before the specimen dissolving step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
