Abstract:
To provide an optical device manufacturing method which can easily remove bubbles in a photocurable resin composition.SOLUTION: The optical device manufacturing method includes: Step A for forming, on an optical member or a transparent panel, a wall part that encloses a coating region to which a coating of photocurable resin composition is applied; Step B for applying the photocurable resin composition to the coating region; Step C for, under a pressure-reduced atmosphere lower than the atmospheric pressure, pasting the optical member and the transparent panel together via the photocurable resin composition to obtain a laminate; and Step D for pressurizing the laminate and thereby removing bubbles in the photocurable resin composition. In Step B, the photocurable resin composition is applied so that the photocurable resin composition on at least the wall part side is higher than the wall part and the laminate obtained in Step C has a plurality of dividing spaces due to bubbles formed in the thickness direction of the photocurable resin composition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
