Abstract:
To provide an image formation apparatus having a light emitting device in which the structures of a light emitting chip and a drive circuit are improved.SOLUTION: A light emitting device 401 of an image formation apparatus comprises: a silicon wafer including a circuit; and a layered body which has a first electrode layer including a plurality of electrodes, a second electrode layer in the layer shape through which the light can pass, and a light emitting layer 604 formed in the layer shape between the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer and emitting light with application of the voltage, and is formed on the surface of the silicon wafer. The drive circuit comprises: a voltage generation circuit which generates the drive voltage; and a pulse signal generation circuit which generates a pulse signal for each of the plurality of electrodes on the basis of the drive data. The drive circuit applies the drive voltage generated by the voltage generation circuit in accordance with the pulse signal to each of the plurality of electrodes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
