Abstract:
To provide a method for providing cyber-security for connected vehicles.SOLUTION: One vehicle analyzes, on receipt of Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) data transmitted by a remote vehicle and including context data and registration data of the remote vehicle, the V2X data to determine one or more abnormal activities associated with the remote vehicle based at least in part on the context data and the registration data of the remote vehicle. The analysis includes detecting an occurrence of a cyber-attack event based on the one or more abnormal activities. Responsive to detecting the occurrence of the cyber-attack event, the one vehicle modifies an operation of a vehicle control system of the one vehicle to take one or more remedial actions to mitigate the cyber-attack event.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
