Abstract:
To provide a machine tool including a tool malfunction detection device which highly accurately detects a presence/absence of such malfunctions that chips adhere to the tool and a crack or flaw occurs on the tool.SOLUTION: A tool malfunction detection device comprises: classification model means which generates classification model data in which the existence probability of a malfunction is calculated on the basis of learning data for each block of a tool photographed image divided into blocks for each prescribed pixel size; and regression model means which generates regression model data in which the pixel number that is determined that there is the malfunction in the block is calculated on the basis of the learning data for each block of the tool photographed image. The tool malfunction detection device generates a tool malfunction detection result obtained by determining whether or not the malfunction occurs in the tool on the basis of the classification model data generated by the classification model means and the regression model data generated by the regression model means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
