Abstract:
To provide a medication delivery device including a rotatable sensed element that may be utilized as part of a dose detection system.SOLUTION: Dose detection systems 80 for medication delivery devices 10 are described. One is a module 82 for detachable attachment to a dose button 56 of a medication delivery device. A device with a dose detection system is also disclosed. The module includes a processor and a plurality of magnetic sensors 130, such as five or six sensors, operably coupled to the processor and configured to detect the position of a rotating bipolar magnetic ring within the delivery device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5-6
