Abstract:
To provide a sound absorption arrangement for an inverter cover of an electric compressor capable of reducing inward and outward noise emission.SOLUTION: A sound absorption arrangement comprises, in addition to fixing means to fix an inverter cover (1) to a compressor housing (10) of an electric compressor, sound absorption means for reducing noise emission via the inverter cover (1). The sound absorption means comprises a screw (4) with a screw head (6) and a screw shank (11). A damping element (8) is arranged on the screw head (6). The screw (4) is in contact via the screw shank (11) with the compressor housing (10), and in contact via the damping element (8) arranged on the screw head (6) with the inverter cover (1), in a manner that absorbs vibrations.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
