Abstract:
To provide a vibration generator designed to accurately simulate planned vehicle driving by applying vibration to a tire from a diagonal direction that is offset from a Z axis at a predetermined angle and thereby vibrating an inspection vehicle.SOLUTION: A vibration generator 10 for vibrating a vehicle by applying vibration to at least any one of a plurality of tires 12a of a vehicle 12 comprises a vibration plate 20 that is in contact with at least any one of the plurality of tires, and at least one vibration actuator 24 for applying vibration to any one of the plurality of tires through the vibration plate from a diagonal direction that is offset from a Z axis at a predetermined angle (θf), when the longitudinal direction, the lateral direction, and the gravity force axis direction of the vehicle are defined as an X axis, a Y axis, and a Z axis, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
