Abstract:
To provide a molding device capable of restraining a temperature rise of an electrode.SOLUTION: A molding device 10 comprises a set of blow molding metal molds 13, electrodes 17, 18 electrically connectable to a metal pipe material 14 placed between the set of blow molding metal molds 13, an electric power supply unit 55 that can power the metal pipe material 14 via the electrodes 17, 18, and an electric conduction heat radiation part 56 for absorbing heat from the side of the electrode 17, 18 and discharging heat to the side of the electric power supply part 55 by being powered by the electric power supply part 55. The metal pipe material 14 is heated by Joule heat generated by powering the metal pipe material 14 via the electrodes 17, 18 by the electric power supply part 55. During this, electric power is also fed to the electric conduction heat radiation part 56 electrically connected between the electric power supply part 55 and the electrodes 17, 18. The electric conduction heat radiation part 56 absorbs the heat from the side of the electrodes 17, 18 when it is powered. Thus, a temperature rise of the electrodes 17, 18 can be restrained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
