Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a nonwoven fabric which allows a loose insertion of a recess part and a protrusion part opposed to each other to be appropriately conducted when performing convexoconcave shaping.SOLUTION: A method for producing a nonwoven fabric includes supplying a fiber material between a support roll and a push-in body to perform convexoconcave shaping. On a surface of the support roll, a protrusion part and a recess part are alternately arranged along an axial direction of the support roll. The push-in body comprises a unit in which a part to be loosely inserted to which the protrusion part is loosely inserted, and a push-in part to be inserted to the recess part are alternately arranged along a width direction of the push-in body parallel to the axial direction of the support roll, and a movement mechanism allowing the unit to move in the width direction. The loose insertion is conducted by controlling a position in the width direction of the unit by the movement mechanism and performing convexoconcave shaping to the fiber material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
