Title:
VEHICLE DRIVING SUPPORT SYSTEM, AND ELECTRONIC CONTROL DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2021086411
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide a vehicle driving support system and an electronic control device that make an occupant in a vehicle recognize an object to be recognized in a direction of traveling and suppress excessive warnings.SOLUTION: A correlation acquisition unit 3 acquires a correlation between an object to be recognized in front of a vehicle detected by a recognition object detection unit 15 and a driver's line-of-sight direction detected by a line-of-sight detection unit 18. Based on the correlation, an occupant characteristics determination unit 4 determines that the driver has, as visual recognition characteristics, either central visual characteristics in which the driver tries to recognize the object to be recognized in a central vision or peripheral visual characteristics in which the driver tries to recognize the object to be recognized in a peripheral vision, and makes a storage unit 9 store the determination result in association with the driver's occupant information by an occupant information acquisition unit 5. After that, a gaze determination unit 6 reads out the visual recognition characteristics corresponding to the driver's occupant information from the storage unit 9, and if the visual recognition characteristics are the central visual characteristics, it is determined whether or not the driver is gazing at the object to be recognized based on the object to be recognized and the detection result of the line-of-sight direction, and if not, a warning device 22 gives a warning.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
