Abstract:
To provide a system for dispensing with a user ID input step and for simultaneously performing identification and authentication of a user ID only by one step of input of a one-time password.SOLUTION: A one-time password derivation rule for generating a one-time password is set to be a user's password by applying to a pattern element of a specific position when presenting plural pattern elements disposed in a predetermined pattern to a user who receives authentication as a presentation pattern, and the user is authenticated based on an authentication character string in which a user ID is embedded into a predetermined embedding position within the one-time password. In this case, a correct authentication character string to a presented presentation pattern is generated to all user IDs as a verification code, and a user's authentication of the user ID corresponding to the verification code is made successful when the verification code equal to the authentication character string input by the user exists.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
