Abstract:
To provide a seal member which does not need work for applying a liquid gasket at the assembling of a component and can apply a prescribed quantity of the liquid gaskets to a desired position, a seal face structure of the assembling member, and a seal method of the assembling member.SOLUTION: A seal member 10 is interposed between members 30, 40 to be assembled, and seals a clearance between the members 30, 40. The seal member 10 comprises a solid gasket 12 formed of an elastic material, a bag-shaped coated film 20 attached to a face opposing at least one member 40 to be assembled, and a liquid gasket 26 sealed into the coated film. When assembling the members 30, 40, the coated film 20 of the seal member 10 interposed between the members is fractured to make the sealed liquid gasket 26 flow out, thus applying the liquid gasket 26 between the members 30, 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
