Abstract:
To provide a solid oxide fuel cell system capable of shortening the time required for startup and reducing the energy required for startup.SOLUTION: A solid oxide fuel cell system includes a reformer 4 for performing steam reforming on a fuel gas, a cell stack 6 for generating power by oxidizing and reducing the reformed fuel gas and oxidation gas (air), an air blower 40 for supplying an oxidation gas, a fuel gas supply pump 24 for supplying fuel gas, and a combustor 50 for burning fuel off gas. The fuel off gas from the fuel electrode side 8 of the cell stack 6 and the air off gas from the air electrode 36 side thereof are sent to the combustor 50 to be burned. A fuel gas branch feeding flow path 72 is provided to be branched from the fuel gas supply flow path 14, and a flow path on-off valve 74 is provided in the fuel gas branch feeding flow path 72. The flow path on-off valve 74 is opened at the time of startup, and a part of the fuel gas flowing through the fuel gas supply flow path 14 is fed to the combustor 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
