Abstract:
To provide a marking device capable of accurately marking lines, characters and symbols on a surface of a steel plate as a marking target material.SOLUTION: A marking device A for forming a marking including a line, a character and a symbol formed by connection of ink drops on a surface of a steel plate C, includes: an injection nozzle 2 for injecting ink drops 21; a marking head B which electrically charges ink drops intermittently injected from the injection nozzle with a charging member 24 and deflects them via a deflection member 25 to inject them onto the steel plate; a travel carriage 10 that travels with the marking head mounted theron; an inclination adjustment member 16 for adjusting an inclination of the marking head mounted on the travel carriage to a direction and an angle contrary to an angle α formed by a central axis (a straight line 21a) of the injection nozzle and an injection direction (a deflection straight line 21b) of the deflected ink drops; and a control member 40 for controlling the charging member and the deflection member with respect to ink drops in response to the marking to be formed on the steel plate and controlling travel of the travel carriage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
