Abstract:
To provide a connector improving the reliability of fitting detection.SOLUTION: A connector is equipped with: first and second housings 10 and 60 that are installed on a panel 60 and can be fitted with each other; a pair of terminal fittings 11A stored in the first housing 10; and a short terminal 12 that is stored in the first housing 10 and short-circuits a pair of terminal fittings 11A. The second housing 60 has a releasing portion 73 that is located between the pair of terminal fittings 11A and the short terminal 12 when the first and second housings 10 and 60 are normally fitted and releases a short-circuit state of the pair of terminal fittings 11A. The first housing 10 has a lock arm 15 capable of bending and deforming in a first direction holding the second housing 90 in a fitting state. The short terminal 12 has a contact portion 24 in contact with the pair of terminal fittings 11A in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
