To enhance accuracy of analysis of a gear.SOLUTION: A method for analyzing a gear includes: a model creation step of creating a FEM model 100 of the gear; a reference influence function calculation step of calculating a reference influence function based on deformation when a load is applied to a predetermined node of a tooth surface of the FEM model 100; a correction influence function calculation step for calculating a correction influence function corresponding to local deformation generated when a load is applied to a predetermined node of a tooth surface; and an influence function calculation step for calculating an influence function by subtracting the correction influence function from the reference influence function.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
