Abstract:
To solve the problem that magnesium is an important element in metal alloy in order to apply corrosion resistance to a coated strip.SOLUTION: It is disclosed that the iron strip has a coating of metal alloy on at least one surface of the strip. The metal alloy includes aluminum, zinc, silicon and magnesium as a main element and also includes strontium and/or calcium, inevitable impurities and other elements existing as an element intentionally alloyed when required. The concentration of the magnesium is at least 1 mass%, and the concentration of (i) the strontium, (ii) the calcium or (iii) both of strontium and calcium exceeds 50 ppm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
