Abstract:
To provide a magnetic head for paper sheet magnetic detection that can effectively prevent a reduction in detection accuracy due to factors such as spacing loss.SOLUTION: A magnetic head for paper sheet magnetic detection includes: a first magnetic gap 3 facing a transport path 2 of a paper sheet P; a first magnetic circuit 4 with the first magnetic gap 3 intervening; a second magnetic gap 5 located inside the first magnetic circuit 4; a second magnetic circuit 6 with the second magnetic gap 5 intervening; a circuit overlap 7 where a part of the first magnetic circuit 4 and a part of the second magnetic circuit 6 overlap; an exciting permanent magnet 8 that excites the first magnetic circuit 4 and the second magnetic circuit 6 at the circuit overlap 7; a detection coil 9 that only detects the magnetism flowing in the second magnetic circuit 6 inside the first magnetic circuit 4; and a repulsive permanent magnet 15 having repulsion polarity that is arranged inside the first magnetic gap 3 and along the inner circumference of the first magnetic circuit 4, and expelling leakage flux that is about to leak inside the first magnetic gap 3 to the outside of the first magnetic gap 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
