Abstract:
To prevent a water temperature from suddenly rising or falling in a process of lowering the temperature subsequent to carrying out hot water sterilization, even when a batch-wise cooling method is used.SOLUTION: There is provided a water treatment device comprising a purified water tank 2 for storing purified water, a filtration membrane device 13 separating purified water into treated water and concentrated water, a flow controller 321 for controlling the supply of makeup water to the purified water tank 2 and circulation of the purified water through the purified water tank 2, a makeup water supply line L11, the filtration membrane device 13, a treated water supply line L31, and a treated water recovery line L32, a cycle time setting unit 324 for setting a treatment time per one cycle of lowering the present temperature by one level in the process of lowering the purified water temperature to a cooling target temperature stepwise, a step target temperature setting unit 325 setting a target temperature at the end of the current cycle, and a makeup water amount calculation unit 326 for calculating an amount of makeup water in the current cycle according to the whole amount of water present in the route, the temperature of the purified water, the temperature of the makeup water, and the step target temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
