Abstract:
To provide a tire molding device with an adjustable drum width direction area of a segment constituting an expansion/contraction molding drum and capable of securely maintaining the molding drum at a predetermined enlarged diameter state.SOLUTION: One side and the other side segments 11, 12 are arranged mutually stacking in a drum width direction, guide shafts 10a, 10b provided at one end parts of respective rods 9a, 9b supporting the respective segments 11, 12 are inserted in a bend slot 5A corresponding to one side and the other side rotor plates 4A, 4B. Via a connection body 8 for connecting the respective rotor plates 4A, 4B with a gap being adjustable in a drum width direction, the respective rotor plates 4A, 4B are rotated in synchronization about a drum shaft 2a, moved along a radial direction extending part 5r of the respective guide shafts 10a, 10b for expansion/contraction of a molding drum 2, the respective guide shafts 10a, 10b are moved to a circumferential direction extending hole 5c for regulating the movements of the respective segments 11, 12 in a drum radial direction to maintain the molding drum 2 in a predetermined enlarged diameter state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
