Abstract:
To suppress total power consumed by a plurality of hot water storage type water heaters while suppressing hot water shortage.SOLUTION: In a hot water supply system having control means for controlling a plurality of hot water storage type water heaters installed in a plurality of dwelling houses, the control means comprises total power calculation means for calculating a total value of water heater consumption power being power which is consumed by the plurality of hot water storage type water heaters as total power, and limit means for limiting the water heater consumption power so that the total power in a concentration load time band in which a power load is concentrated becomes less than or equal to a total power allowable value. When the total power reaches the total power allowable vale or larger in the concentration load time band, the limit means sets a heating capacity at a boil operation to a capacity which is the same as the heating capacity in the boil operation when the water heater consumption power is not limited, and controls the water heaters so that a tapping temperature at the boil operation reaches a second tapping temperature which is lower than a first tapping temperature being the tapping temperature at the boil operation when the water heater consumption power is not limited.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
