Abstract:
To provide improve safety by exhausting released gas without emitting sparks outside a case after reducing the temperature of the released gas.SOLUTION: The power supply device has an outer case 2 that stores multiple batteries 1 with a discharge valve. The outer case 2 includes a discharge path 4 having a gas collision structure for discharging released gas from the discharge valve to the outside. The discharge path 4 in the collision structure includes a first collision plate 11 for reversing the flow direction by colliding the released gas with a surface and a second collision plate 12 arranged facing the first collision plate 11. The outer case 2 includes: a battery storage space 5 that stores battery block 10; a duct space 6 formed between an edge of the outer case and the battery storage space 5; and a connector 8 connected to the battery block 10 via a lead wire 7. The duct space 6 includes a discharge path 4 and a space provided at the discharge side of the discharge path 4 and communicating with the outside of the outer case 2. The lead wire 7 is laid in the discharge path 4 and is connected to the connector 8 via the space.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
