Abstract:
PURPOSE:To rapidly execute control for detecting that inputted coordinates are a specified graphic by simple constitution by setting up a specified shape as the data of nine dots in a corresponding table and pointing out the data. CONSTITUTION:A shape input 111 consisting of the center coordinates and eight near-by coordinates is inputted as a specified graphic, a table setting means 112 sets up a specification display on a table 131 for a number correspond ing to the data of nine dots. At the time of generating a coordinate input from a pointing means 17, an eight near-by dot extracting means 122 extracts the coordinates and the eight near-by dot data from a frame memory. A table access means 123 reads out and accesses the table 131 by means of the extracted 9-dot information and a coincidence detecting means 124 identifies the detection of the specified shape by the information read out from the table 131. If the specified shape is not detected, the value of the coordinate input is changed to the adjacent dot position to retrieve the specified shape. Consequently, proba bility for detecting a graphic by one pointing can be improved and rapid opera tion can be attained.
