Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain an yield increasing agent for rice plants, capable of exhibiting reduction of culm length and prevention of lodging and high yield increasing effects which are not found in single use thereof, by combining inabenfide with choline chloride. CONSTITUTION:An yield increasing agent for rice plant containing inabenfide [i.e. (4'-chloro-2'-alpha-hydroxybenzylphenyl)isonicotinanilide] and choline chloride. This yield increasing agent is preferably sprayed in a handleable amount within the range of 60-240g inabenfide and 60-240g choline chloride based on 10 a. The spraying period is preferably about 1-50 days before heading and this yield increasing agent is preferably sprayed on paddy field.
