Abstract:
PURPOSE:To stabilize a welding result by a method wherein a gas burner and an aluminum wire are approached and detached relatively and repeatedly at a definite rhythm or at a definite number of revolutions according to a timing operation of a machine. CONSTITUTION:An aluminum wire 12 is held by using a preheated chuck 11; a copper-based tinned iron wire (Cp wire) 14 is held by using a Cp chuck 13. The wire 12 is heated to a semi-molten state by using gas flames 16 of gas burners 15; the Cp wire 14 is pushed and bonded. Since the wire 12 is heated rapidly to 548 to 600 deg.C by using the burners 15, aluminum atoms and copper atoms are diffused to each other at their contact parts and are transformed into a eutectic texture; an interface of aluminum and copper is melted together. Then, the burners 15 are detached; a temperature of the wire 12 is lowered; the molten eutectic texture is solidified and is transformed into a eutectic alloy layer 17. The two burners 15 are arranged and installed by forming an angle C with respect to the wire 12 and the flames 16 are applied from many directions, the wire is heated uniformly and the good alloy layer 17 is produced. Thereby, it is possible to obtain a lead wire whose strength is high, whose irregularity is small and which is very stable.
