The invention relates to novel 1-arylpyrazoles of the formula (I) in which R<1> represents hydrogen or nitro, R<2> represents hydrogen or a radical R<3> represents hydrogen or halogen, R<4> represents halogen and R<5> represents hydrogen or halogen, where R<6> represents alkyl, haloalkyl, alkoxyalkyl or alkoxyalkoxyalkyl, a plurality of processes for their preparation, and their use as herbicides.
