Abstract:
PURPOSE:To control the torques and steering angles of motor-driven wheels without mechanical power transmission mechanism by calculating an optimum steering angle for each wheel on the basis of output signals of steering angle signal output means and torque signal output means. CONSTITUTION:A handle 45, a driving mode switching lever 46, an accelerator pedal 47, and a brake pedal 48 are disposed in an electric motor vehicle, and theta/V converters 50, 52, 53, theta/S converters 51, 54 are respectively connected thereto. A switch 55 and a rotating direction discriminator 71 are controlled by the outputs of the converters 51, 54, and the steering angles of motor-driven wheels are controlled. The outputs of the converters 52, 53 are processed by a PID nonlinear processor 67, supplied to a supply voltage controller 72, and the torques of the wheels are controlled. Thus, the vehicle can be traveled by optimum traveling stability from a normal traveling to a special traveling.
