Abstract:
PURPOSE:To automatically and efficiently generate a target ruled line even if the coordinates of a start point and an end point are correctly designated at the time of generating a table in the frame of a previously generated ruled line. CONSTITUTION:A coordinate storage means 101 storing the positions of the respective ruled lines as X and Y-coordinate values, a display means 102 having a screen, a designation means 103 designating the positions of the start point and the end point of the ruled lines, a calculation means 104 calculating the length of a vertical segment and the length of a lateral segment, which correspond to the X and Y-coordinate values of the designated start point and the end point, a judgement means 105 judging the longer segment to be the direction of the ruled line from a calculated result, a retrieval means 106 retrieving the coordinate value of the ruled line which is near both external sides becoming perpendicular to the judged direction of the ruled line, and a control means 107 obtaining the X and Y-coordinate values on the positions of the lines which pass the start point and the end point and which are orthogonal to the ruled lines on the both external sides, substituting them for the X and Y-coordinate values of the start point and the end point of the ruled line, storing them in the coordinate storage means 101, developing the ruled line into display data based on the substituted X and Y-coordinate values and displaying it in the screen of a display means are provided.
