Abstract:
In this method, workpieces (4) (Figure 2A) are assembled (Figure 2B) from basic elements (4a to 4i) which are easy to define. Corrections for the tool path (cutter radius compensation) are already undertaken on the basic elements (4a to 4i) or their 2d contours, so that when the corrected basic elements are assembled to form workpieces the corrected contours already intersect and thus produce the tool path data in a simple way.
