Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve reading ratio for a name by automatically setting partition on a character string consisting of the first name and the last name, and recognizing the first name and the last name by changing the position of partition appropriately. CONSTITUTION:When no separator is included in the character string consisting of the first name and the last name, the collation of the name is performed by dividing the character string into the first half part and the last half part by automatically setting the partition with a division processing part 10, and assuming the first half part and the last half part as the first name and the last name, respectively with a name recognition part 5. When either the first name or the last name is unrecognized, a partition setting part 12 performs re-collation by setting the partition at a position different from a previous position. Both the first name and the last name can be recognized correctly if they are described correctly by moving the partition sequentially. In such a way, the name can be recognized even when no separator exists.
