Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable the accurately registered delivery of a sheet by applying the peripheral direction component reverse to the rotary direction of a sheet delivery cylinder to a suction member during the return motion of the suction member by a transmission device. CONSTITUTION: A suction gripper mechanism 11 is constituted of a plurality of the suction members 14 provided to a shaft 19 to be loaded by sucked air and a lever 15 fitted with a roller. When a sheet delivery cylinder 9 is rotated, the roller 16 exceeds the transfer inclined part of a control cam 18 to gradually run to the range of a contour having a long distance from the center of the sheet delivery cylinder 9. At this time, the suction members 14 revolve inwardly to draw the circular arc 20 centering around a revolving point 22. Since the suction members 14 are always loaded by sucked air during revolving motion, the suction members slide slightly along the direction going toward the rear edge of a sheet on the basis of the peripheral direction component in the sheet 8 raised from an impression cylinder 1. At this time, the wrinkles or pleats of the sheet are stretched to be perfectly tensioned before delivered to a gripper mechanism 12.
