Abstract:
PURPOSE:To shorten time required for active material formation maturity by using lead powder having a predetermined granule diameter and oxidized layer thickness. CONSTITUTION:Lead powder whose granule diameter is in the range of 0.1 to 10mum and whose oxidized layer thickness is more than 60% of the granule diameter, is used as a material for paste type lead battery electrode plate active material formation. As a result, it is arranged that time required for aging whose purpose is to generate a required quantity of PbO2 under a required atmospheric condition, is shortened.
