Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make the forgery and the alteration of a card difficult and to improve the security of the card by forming an IR transmittance variable layer where the transmisivity of IR is changed reversibly or non-reversibly by heating, voltage applying, light irradiation, etc., on the IR light emitting layer of the card. CONSTITUTION:A recording layer 2 is formed on the one face or both sides of a substrate 1, an IR light emitting layer 3 is formed on the substrate 1 or on the recording layer 2 and an IR transmitivity variable layer 4 is formed on the IR light emitting layer 3. Accordingly, when a specified pattern original to a card issuing machine is printed on the IR transmittance variable layer 4 at card issuing, an IR light emitting pattern from the card can be changed by changing the pattern of the IR transmitivity variable layer such as a thermosensitive melting film, a thermosensitive coloring film, etc., at the time of card issuing even when the pattern of the IR light emitting layer is forged. Thus, security can be improved.
